With a combination of cooling peppermint and sweet spearmint, our Minty Fresh toothpaste is the product your teeth have been waiting for! Our truly natural, safe-to-swallow toothpaste is made from the highest-quality ingredients, designed to balance your oral pH, protect tooth enamel, and keep gums healthy and beautiful! Our toothpastes are flavoured with 100% organic essential oils, and naturally foam thanks to the addition of locally-produced castile soap. Our toothpastes are also baking soda-free, making them a great choice for sensitive gums. Teeth will feel clean and polished, gums will feel healthy, and breath will feel naturally fresh. With our 4 different toothpaste flavors, we're sure you'll find the one you want to use for life!

Our products are created fresh, for you, with care and commitment to the highest quality possible. Due to the nature of our products, we are unable to accept returns. Please contact us with any questions or concerns you may have before placing an order. If you are unhappy with your product for any reason, please send us an email and we will do our best to make it right.

All orders are shipped from our location in Victoria, BC within 2-5 business days. Please note we currently ship our products within Canada only. All product and shipping prices are in Canadian dollars.

Calcium Carbonate: One of the most abundant minerals on Earth, calcium carbonate acts as a gentle yet effective abrasive which forms the base structure of our toothpaste. It has been known to remove surface plaque and stains, while protecting gum tissue.

 

Colloidal Silver: We are proud to use Vancouver Island-made colloidal silver in our products. This wonderful, underrated liquid is naturally anti-microbial, and destroys unwanted bacteria in the mouth. It has been proven effective against periodontitis (gum disease) and can help speed the healing of canker sores. Silver also acts as a natural preservative to help extend the shelf-life of your oral health care products, without any chemicals entering your home or body!

 

Castile Soap (Sapo Castilliensis): We are proud to source Vancouver Island-made castile soap made from olive, coconut, and hemp oils, which creates the foaming sensation so many of us are accustomed to in our toothpaste! Castile soap kills oral bacteria and is gentle on both the body and planet by being 100% biodegradable.

 

Xylitol: Naturally derived from the bark of birch trees and/or non-GMO corn cobs, xylitol helps to balance out the flavours in our toothpastes while reducing the risk of dental caries (cavities). Xylitol neutralizes the pH of saliva, preventing further enamel destruction, and over time has even been shown to reverse tooth decay.

 

Bentonite Clay (Montmorillonite): This ancient clay has been around longer than we have, and is naturally formed from volcanic ash. It has been known as 'the clay of 1000 uses', but is found in our toothpaste for its re-mineralizing and detoxifying properties. Bentonite clay helps alkalanize the pH in the mouth, and releases calcium when mixed with saliva. These properties help repair damaged enamel and prevent cavities. 

 

Magnesium Hydroxide: A natural mineral which prevents erosion of tooth enamel while neutralizing acid in the mouth. Studies have also shown magnesium hydroxide to be effective at reducing the depth of caries lesions (cavities).

 

L-Arginine: A positively-charged amino acid which, when coupled with calcium carbonate, prevents dental erosion and strengthens enamel. Arginine has been shown to help calcium attach to the tooth surface, preventing cavities and alleviating dentin hypersensitivity.

 

Himalayan Sea Salt: This beautiful, minimally-processed salt is harvested by hand in Pakistan and acts as an anti-bacterial agent to remove plaque and tartar buildup from your teeth. Himalayan salt contains up to 84 different trace minerals (the natural pink color is created by the many trace minerals it contains), which helps to remineralize tooth enamel.

 

Peppermint EO (Mentha piperita)*: Thanks to its high menthol content, peppermint essential oil is naturally antifungal, anti-inflammatory, and antibacterial, and provides that minty-fresh feeling we all associate with a clean mouth! Peppermint oil helps to reduce biofilm formation, lessening the likelihood of cavities and gum disease, while relieving any aches and pains that may be present in the teeth and gums. Peppermint does a great job of clearing away bad bacteria, and can help prevent and treat halitosis, periodontitis, and gingivitis.

 

Spearmint EO (Mentha spicata)*:  With more carvone present than menthol, spearmint is peppermint's sweeter sibling, and pairs beautifully with peppermint for an ultra-flavourful minty fresh taste and feeling! Spearmint essential oil is naturally antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and antifungal. It is excellent at killing oral bacteria, freshening the breath, and aiding sore gums.
