Jojoba Oil (Simmondsia chinensis)*: Jojoba is a natural plant wax produced by the seeds of a desert shrub. The seeds, brimming with stored moisture, are collected and cold-pressed to release a liquid similar to our skins sebum. Because jojoba is a plant wax and not an oil, it does not go rancid and is used in our skincare products to maintain maximum shelf life and potency. It provides phytonutrients to the skin while blending in effortlessly, leaving no oily residue behind. Jojoba is the ultimate moisturizer, and delivers long-lasting skin conditioning. It forms the base of our beauty oils due to its abundance of phytonutrients, antioxidants, and vitamin E.
Frankincense EO (Boswellia rivae)†: This precious, complexion-calming essential oil is like heaven in a bottle. It is exceptional at toning and rejuvenating the skin, with a particular affinity for repairing skin damage. It has antiseptic and anti-inflammatory qualities, which make it useful for healing wounds, sunburns, acne, and rosacea. This wonderful-smelling wild-harvested plant is one of the only remaining Frankincense species to be sustainably harvested, with strict regulations set in place for havesting and preservation (read more about declining plant species and the oils we choose to protect in our blog post here).
Peppermint EO (Mentha piperita)*: Peppermint essential oil helps to balance sebum (the skin's natural oil) production while providing a powerful dose of antiseptic and antimicrobial action to keep breakouts at bay. It's natural menthol content helps to encourage healthy blood circulation while enhancing skin tone, and its minty fresh aroma helps to awaken the face, body, and mind.Blue Tansy EO (Tanacetum annuum)*: Blue Tansy essential oil is anti-inflammatory and calming to both the skin as well as the mind. It acts as an anti-bacterial powerhouse to help clear pores, heal damaged or broken skin, alleviate dryness/itchiness, reduce redness, and moisturize the skin.

To use as a moisturizing facial oil, apply 3-6 drops onto fingertips and massage into face in an circular motion. Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, and broken skin.
To use as a facial cleanser, wet a designated washcloth with very warm water and wring out excess. Apply 1 dropperful of product into a small section of the cloth and slowly massage into face using circular motions. Rinse if desired, and top up extra thirsty skin with a few drops of beauty oil once skin is dry. To read more about the ancient art of oil cleansing, click here.
To use as an all-over moisturizer, apply 2-3 dropperfuls to the palm of your hand and slowly massage into skin. Application works best when skin is clean, dry, and warm (after a bath/shower is perfect)!
Caution: Discontinue use if irritation occurs. Always perform a patch test prior to using essential oil products by applying a small amount of product onto the inside of the arm to see if a reaction occurs. Avoid use around the eyes, mouth, or other sensitive areas of the body.
