Tulsi (Ocimum tenuiflorum)*: Commonly known as 'holy basil', this incredibly nourishing herb helps to relieve skin, joint, digestive, and respiratory conditions. Tulsi contains plenty of bioactive compounds which help to open your airways and improve breathing, while stimulating your body in a gentle way to enhance creativity and boost overall energy. Tulsi helps to keep your body in balance, and knows how to give you a boost of stamina while keeping you calm and grounded. It can help with detoxifying the body and purifying the blood, resulting in cleaner, greener health to last you well beyond your daily cuppa.
Oat Straw (Avena sativa)*: Produced by the same plant you get your morning oats from, oat straw is packed full of protein, minerals, and vitamins to keep your health at its prime. Oat straw has a subtle aphrodisiac effect, and an infusion of the tea ensures the health of your bones, nerves, and emotions. Oat straw helps to soothe the mind when you're feeling burnt out, and restores the mucous membranes in the lungs, digestive tract, skin, and reproductive organs. It also contains antioxidants, which help to protect the body from external pathogens causing illness and dis-ease.
Hyssop (Hyssopus officinalis)*: The bright purple flowers of the hyssop plant are notorious for soothing respiratory discomfort, boosting the immune system, and reducing inflammation in the body. Hyssop acts as a mild sedative and can help relax the mind by reducing stress and anxiety, improving sleep quality, and protecting the body with its antioxidant capabilities.
Lemon Balm (Melissa officinalis)*: Lemon balm is a wonderfully bright-tasting herb with very relaxing properties. It can help to ease anxiety and stress as well as pain and discomfort from indigestion. It has been known to help ease insomnia when consumed regularly, and can be beneficial for those experiencing mood swings, depression, or inflammation.
Skullcap (Scutellaria lateriflora)*: Skullcap is a beautiful herb which acts a nerve-soother, providing the body with antioxidants and reducing overall stress and anxiety within the mind. It helps to reduce inflammation while improving mood, enhancing relaxation, and providing a mild sedative effect to help you zen out.
Lavender (Lavandula officinalis)*: Lavender is one of the most soothing, calming, and anxiety-reducing herbs on the planet. It's calming properties help to diffuse tension in the body and mind, as well as improve overall mood, induce relaxation, and even help with depression when taken regularly.
