Our women's blend is an earthy, floral, hormone-balancing combination of red raspberry leaves, lemon balm, vitex (chastetree) berries, angelica root, rose, fennel, cardamom, and hisbiscus. All orders are shipped from our location in Victoria, BC within 2-5 business days. Please note we currently ship our products within Canada only. All product and shipping prices are in Canadian dollars.
Red Raspberry Leaf (Rubus idaeus)*: One of the most commonly-known herbs for women's health, this light and fluffy herb is packed full of protective antioxidants, vitamins, minerals, and essential nutrients. It is especially good at toning the uterus, which helps to boost overall health and uterine tone before conception and after childbirth, as well as relieving symptoms associated with PMS. It has been known to help shorten duration of labour when taken regularly during the last trimester, and can assist with post-partum healing as well as preventing/relieving inflammation.
Lemon Balm (Melissa officinalis)*: Lemon balm is a wonderfully bright-tasting herb with very relaxing properties. It can help to ease anxiety and stress as well as pain and discomfort from indigestion. It has been known to help ease insomnia when consumed regularly, and can be beneficial for those experiencing mood swings, depression, or inflammation.
Dong Quai (Angelica sinensis)*: Also known as Angelica Root, this beloved plant is native to Eastern Asia and has been used for over 1,000 years to promote blood circulation, modulate the immune system, and balance hormones. Because dong quai moderates the production of estrogen, it is invaluable for easing pre-menstrual and menopausal symptoms.
Rose (Rosa centifolia)*: Our organic rose petals add a touch of feminine beauty and flavor to this revitalizing tea blend. Rose is excellent at opening the heart, relaxing the mind, and providing a boost of vitamin C and antioxidants to make you glow both inside and out.
Hibiscus (Hibiscus sabdariffa)*: Hibiscus is wonderfully anti-inflammatory, and is brimming with helpful antioxidants to protect the body and cells from damage. It can also help to lower blood pressure, assist with weight loss, and protect from liver damage. Its multitude of healthful properties, beautiful pink color, and sweet/tart floral taste make it the perfect addition to our Women's Blend Tea.
Cardamom (Elettaria cardamomum)*: Cardamom is a unique spice not only delicious in taste, but full of health properties as well. It contains antioxidants and anti-cancer compounds, while also being anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial. Cardamom seeds can help improve circulation, reduce high blood pressure, and lessen inflammation in the body.
Fennel Seed (Foeniculum vulgare)*: Fennel should be viewed as a very good friend to women. It it loaded with nutrients and antioxidants which help to promote an overall healthy body, all while helping to balance hormones, strengthen the heart, cleanse the blood, boost the immune system, and ease symptoms associated with IBS, heart disease, and indigestion.
Chastetree Berries (Vitex agnus-castus)*: These berries may be small, but they are mighty. Vitex helps to stimulate the pituitary gland to increase or decrease estrogen and progesterone, as required by your body's unique needs. Chastetree can be especially helpful in balancing hormones after using birth control pills.
